PERSONAL AND UNOFFICIAL PROMOTION DEPARTMENT July 28, 1964
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Levy
2505 1/2 Fifth Street
Meridian, Mississippi
Dear Mark and Betty:
Under separate cover I have sent you several books which I think are
what you want in your good battle.
As soon as things clear up around her with a long, rough season behind
me, I intend to send some money. I envy you, the good fight you are
fighting, and I really didn't think that in this day and age there
were kids who really cared. We cared about a lot of things in my time
which was 1937, '38 and '39 but I guess being older and fatter and
perhaps a bit too contented one tends to overlook that the young will
always make their great contributions to this world.
Sincerely,
