RE: Reduction in NYS Library Funds
Dear Congressman Rosenthal:

The recent reduction in N.Y. State's share of library funds from $4,100,000 to $2,539,090 without Congressional approval is an unconscionable act!

The special outreach services of the Queens Borough Public Library will be negatively affected. In these times of economic hardship, the community has greater need than ever for library services.

This office respectfully requests your support in seeking the restoration of the library funds which were properly allocated to New York State.

Thank you for your help in this matter.
Sincerely,
Myra Baird Herce
